Well, that’s quite wordy but hey, I didn’t come up with the name. I picked up these Green Beaver lip balms a while back but didn’t get a chance to try them out until now. They were on sale. I purchased 2 of these Green Beaver lip balms for less than $4. Even though I had so many other lip balms at home, I couldn’t resist and picked them up. I mean, $4 for 2 Green Beaver lip balms?
Talk about an amazing deal!
Product Review: What ingredients are in Green Beaver Wildflower Beeswax Frosty Mint Lip Balm?
Take a look at the ingredient list for these Green Beaver lip balms and you recognize even more than this was a phenomenal deal.
Here’s the list of ingredients that went into making the Green Beaver Wildflower Beeswax Frosty Mint Lip Balm: cocos nucifera (coconut oil)*, beeswax*, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, menthe piperita (peppermint) oil*, vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry) seed oil*, menthol*, squalene, beta-sitosterol, tocopherol. *ingredients from organic farming.
So, question: when was the last time you had a lip balm made with so many organic ingredients? I point this out because I often hear from my friends that organic products are too expensive but deals like these prove otherwise. Read a little more and you realize 100% of the total ingredients are from natural origin. Again, can your everyday lip balm make that claim?
At the time of review, I’ve been using this Green Beaver lip balm for about a month. It’s not the only brand I use but it has been part of the rotation. It’s incredibly smooth and glides on easily. It’s a light coating, not overpowering, and the scent is a very light mint which I’m okay with. It’s got a really great honey scent as well thanks to the wildflower beeswax.
There are some lip balms that I would wear before I go to bed because they offer overnight moisture and protection. I don’t feel like these Green Beaver lip balms do that. They’re great but they are a little light on the coverage. For me, they’d be fine for daily use but I’d switch to a different thicker brand for night time protection especially during these wintry months.
Do I like this Green Beaver lip balm? Actually I do. Compared to a few other flavours I’ve tried from the Green Beaver line, I think I like this one the best. It’s not my favourite lip balm but it’s my favourite of all the Green Beaver ones that I’ve tried. It’s easy and it’s subtle, no fuss, no muss, just the way I like it.
