Talk about charting the life cycle of a plant. Every day my daughter and I have gone out to the garden to see what is happening with the cherry tomato plant and I have 2 really good pieces of news to share:
1. The cherry tomato plant is still alive and kicking. In fact, it’s enormous now so much so that I can no longer take a photo of the entire plant without capturing the rest of my hideous garden.
2. There are now a bunch of little green cherry tomatoes growing on the plant! That is just too cool because my daughter loves cherry tomatoes and it happened quickly enough to not completely frustrate the patience of a young children.

So, we continue to water, watch, and take notes. This has become our own little science project. Now, let’s just hope those cherry tomatoes ripen soon!
