Your skin’s dry and you need some relief. Once upon a time, I used to use a petroleum based skin product but that was then and this is now. I’m a little wiser in my old age and I’ve learned a few things along the way.

Beeseline happens to be one of them.

Product Review: What ingredients are in Beeseline?

Many of you may have never even heard of Beeseline before and honestly, I only discovered it at my local health food store one rare day. I’d never seen it before but I was intrigued to find a non-petroleum based product that would provide that same effect as its petroleum based counterpart.

Product Review: Does Beeseline work well?

If you use the petroleum based products, you’ll likely want to give Beeseline a try because it really is quite neat. Here is what Beeseline looks like fresh out of the jar. You can see it looks very similar to the conventional petroleum based products but one thing that sets it apart is its smell. The use of coconut oil, wildflower honey, and beeswax makes Beeseline smell really natural with a hint of each ingredient. It’s pleasant and makes me wonder why I ever bothered with that other stuff.

I sometimes will use Beeseline to moisturize lips and sore nasal passages from excessive nose blowing. It also works really well on dry hands. I tend to put it on at night right before bed so Beeseline can do its magic.

Verdict:

Made with quality ingredients, Beeseline smells great, it’s natural, and I’m comfortable using it. Goodness knows, there are other parts of my life that aren’t as natural as I’d like them to be (I really have to try and get more natural makeup!) but Beeseline is definitely a step in the right direction.
