Back on December 20, 2012, ThingsThatWeDo.com did a product review on the Barlean’s Olive Leaf Extract which I still continue to love. At that time, I raved about the potential benefits that I feel like I’m getting from taking the Barlean’s Olive Leaf Extract.

My only outstanding thought at that time was that I couldn’t determine if in fact the ingredients were organic. Although the company itself is called Barlean’s Organic Oils, because the ingredients weren’t listed as organic, there was a big question mark left in my brain.

With that big question mark, I decided to contact the Barlean’s Organic Oils company and I learned the following information. According to the email I received from a representative at Barlean’s, they work exclusively with a farm out of Australia. The Archer family provides them with the olive leaves and although it does not have an organic certification, I have been assured that the farm does not use herbicides or pesticides to treat their olive leaf plants.

Deep breath and sigh of relief!! After reading this email, let me send a big online thank you to Barlean’s for sending me this detailed email that gives me the peace of mind I needed to continue to include the Barlean’s Olive Leaf extract in my health regime. Times are changing, there is no doubt about it so thumbs up to Barlean’s for making such a quality product available to consumers!
