A few days ago, I posted a recipe for no bake chocolate treats. I mentioned that I used some crushed biscuits but didn’t really identify which biscuits I used. Well, here they are.

Allow me to introduce you to Papadopoulos Petit Beurre biscuits. Instead of using crushed graham crackers which I often find too sweet, I decided to use these Papadopoulos Petit Beurre biscuits in the no bake chocolate treats. Whether you eat them plain or add them to your next baked treat, these Papadopoulos Petit Beurre biscuits are super yummy.

Product Review: What ingredients are in the Papadopoulos Petit Beurre biscuits?

Now, under most circumstances I would quite readily post the list of ingredients that went into making the products I review. However, in this case, I uh..sort of, don’t have the entire list. You see, I was so excited to make those no bake chocolate treats that I tore away the packaging, tossed it far away before I even had a chance to take a photo of the complete ingredients. So, you can see, these Papadopoulos Petit Beurre biscuits are made with some wheat flour, whole grain wheat flour, sugar, palm oil, whole grain rye flour, glucose syrup, malt flour, milk of some form, leavening (ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, disodium pyrophosphate), salt, an emulsifier of some sort, and artificial flavour.

Considering I could have tossed out more of the packaging before I took the photo, I think I did pretty well! As for the list of ingredients, it’s decent for a biscuit especially since I’m tossing it into a treat that involves chocolate. I mean, at least it doesn’t have as much sugar as your average graham cracker. That was my main reason for choosing these butter biscuits.

Taste Test: Papadopoulos Petit Beurre biscuits

The Papadopoulos Petit Beurre biscuits taste great all by themselves. Adding them to my no baked chocolate treats was a bonus but my big kid and I happily eat them plain. They have a great crunch and snap with a signature buttery taste that you’d expect from biscuits like this. - Papadopoulos Petit Beurre biscuits

I mean, hey, it’s a pretty decent biscuit!
