I can’t believe I’m saying this but I actually like something with chocolate in it. Over the Christmas holidays a friend gave me this box of LOC Maria Crepes Belgian Chocolate Biscuits.
I loved the vibrant red box with its gold snowflakes but what I loved even more were the little biscuits themselves.
Now, at first glance, the LOC Maria Crepes Belgian Chocolate Biscuit looks like your typical chocolate coated treat but with a fancier shape.
What you may not know however, is how incredibly light these biscuits are. They look hefty and substantial but really extremely delicate and fragile. Press them too hard and they’ll likely crumble in between your fingers.
I mean, take a look at these cute little morsels.
Take a bite and then you realize why: underneath that thin chocolate coating is a thin thin crispy biscuit. The crunch from that buttery little biscuit (which isn’t overly buttery but just the perfect little hit) is the perfect accompaniment for the chocolate. Honestly, I could probably eat the whole box if I didn’t contain myself. They’re tasty without being too sweet and I love the crispness of each biscuit.
These LOC Maria Crepes Belgian Chocolate Biscuits are seriously tasty.
Product Review: what ingredients are in the LOC Maria Crepes Belgian Chocolate Biscuits
Let’s take a quick look at the ingredients that went in to making these scrumptious morsels of goodness (bet you never thought I’d use those words to describe chocolate, huh?). The LOC Maria Crepes Belgian Chocolate Biscuits are made with: milk chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder, cocoa mass, lactose, soya lecithin, natural vanilla flavour), enriched wheat flour, sugar, butter, modified milk ingredients, salt, barley malt extract, sodium bicarbonate, maltodextrin.
Here is the nutrition facts label.
Although each serving is 6 cookies, I found I was quite happy after only eating a few. They may be small but they’re incredibly flavourful and satisfying.
I could totally eat a bunch of LOC Maria Crepes Belgian Chocolate Biscuits right now. I mean, right now. That about sums it up, don’t you think?
