The great folks at Enjoy Life have come out with yet another new product. I don’t know who the masterminds are at Enjoy Life but it seems like they’re constantly pumping out new products which I commend. As a conscientious consumer, the very fact that Enjoy Life exists means better alternatives and options for families like mine.
Check out their latest product: Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit. There are a number of different mixes. For today’s review, I tested out the Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix. It’s quite the tongue twister but the goodness inside the bag speaks for itself.
If you’re looking for something new to put in your kid’s snack bag, this might just be the one for you.
Product Review: What ingredients are in Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix?
Open a bag of Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix and these are the ingredients that went into it: sunflower kernels, sulfite-free dried pineapple (pineapple, sugar, citric acid), roasted hulled pumpkin seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower oil, salt), sulfite-free dried cranberries (cranberries, sugar, sunflower oil), sulfite-free dried apricots.
Perhaps what I like most about this bag of Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix (and all Enjoy Life products for that matter) is their determination in making sure their products are free of a number of different ingredients that could be allergens for many people. So, in this bag of Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix, you won’t find wheat, gluten, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, mustard, sulfites, egg, soy, fish, crustaceans, shellfish, or sesame.
Now, for some of you, that may sound like an odd list to have. I mean, what are the chances shellfish would end up in a bag of Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix? However, there is reassurance in knowing that a company has made the effort to confidently and boldly make that sort of claim, not just for shellfish, but 13 different ingredients. It sounds simple until you think of all the possible ways food could get contaminated. Then you realize, there’s a lot more to it.
So, my thoughts on the ingredient list for Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix? It’s pretty basic, you get real food inside this bag and yes, there’s some sugar and some sunflower oil used but overall, it’s a solid list.
Product Review: How does Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix taste?
I’ll be honest, while my daughter is a big fan of sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, she’s not a big fan of the Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix. Her pet peeve – the dried apricot bits get in the way of her enjoying the other ingredients. As it turns out, my big kid doesn’t like dried apricots much. She likes everything else but with the dried apricots interfering, she gave up and couldn’t be bothered with it. Her favourite in the mix is the dried pineapple.
As for me, hey, it’s a seed and fruit mix. It should taste like seeds and the fruits that are in it. The best part about the Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix is that it isn’t too sweet or too salty. Truth be told, I’m okay with the dried apricots but I’m not a big fan of dried pineapple because I find it too sweet. You can see, my big kid and I have a slightly different viewpoint here. Everything else tasted as it should which is a very good thing.
The Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix is easy and makes life easier. Now, some of you might be thinking, “I could totally make that snack mix myself.” You’re right. You probably could. The difference is, Enjoy Life is able to ensure a certain level of quality control that you may not be able to get in your average bulk store. There are just too many variables to ensure that there isn’t any cross contamination.
The Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash Mix tastes as it should. It’s easy, it’s convenient and it’s so versatile. Imagine it on your yogurt in the morning or it could go into your baking. I can’t make muffins but if I could, I would totally put it into a muffin mix and make some super hearty muffins. How about a topping for ice cream? That would be pretty yummy too…really the options are endless.
