A pal of mine bought me this bag of PC Ginger Cookie Chips. She told me I had to try them. She told me they were her favourite with a cup of tea. What was I to do?
Of course, I tried the PC Ginger Cookie Chips and they did NOT disappoint.
Taste test: what ingredients are in these PC Ginger Cookie Chips?
Here are the ingredients that went into making the PC Ginger Cookie Chips: enriched wheat flour, sugar, butter (milk), water, molasses (contain sulphites), ginger, natural flavour, soy lecithin, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cloves. May contain peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and sesame.
Thoughts? Well, I know I didn’t bake these PC Ginger Cookie Chips so I’m not surprised to find a few added ingredients that I might not personally use. They fall under my ‘in moderation’ philosophy of life and eating but overall I’d have to say the list of ingredients is decent. There’s flour, sugar, butter, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, and cloves which are all ingredients I’d use in my baking anyway.
The best part is, these PC Ginger Cookie Chips actually taste delicious.
Truth be told, these PC Ginger Cookie Chips don’t look like much. They’re flat, round, little discs which look completely unassuming. They don’t have any fancy hash marks or designs but they have a light crispy, crunchy texture with a rich, gingery kick. They would make any ginger cookie lover happy.
And yes, they’d pair really well with a nice hot cup of tea.
Scratch that. These PC Ginger Cookie Chips would taste delicious with just about anything like vanilla ice cream! You could probably crush them and sprinkle them on to the ice cream or you could make a really good ice cream sandwich.
The only problem: don’t eat the whole bag in one sitting because I could totally do that. Here’s the reason why you should just be mindful of how many PC Ginger Cookie Chips you eat in one serving:
If you want to introduce a new cookie product into your repertoire of snacks, you should definitely give these PC Ginger Cookie Chips a test drive. They’re honestly one of the better store bought cookie products I’ve tried in a long time.
Hm…I could totally eat some right now.
