Summer time is just around the corner which means icy cold treats for all. Have you ever tried a Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bar? Today’s product review was chosen by my daughter ‘Jenny’ who decided to pick this up at our local health food store. She’s been on a lemon kick lately so it seemed like an ideal time to test out these Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars. My hope is that they’ll taste like frozen lemonade, tart and refreshing without being too sweet. That’s my hope, anyway. I think my kid is just hoping they’ll be cold and lemony. Let’s just see how these Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bar taste, shall we?

Product Review: what are the ingredients in the Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars?

Read the box of Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars and this is what you’ll find on the ingredient list: filtrated water (that’s good), organic lemon juice concentrate (also good), organic evaporated cane juice, guar gum, xanthan.

The list of ingredients for the Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars is short and their all ingredients that I recognize. This looks promising!

Product Review: how do the Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars taste?

My daughter was really excited to test out these Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars. The whole family got involved in this taste test. Open the packaging and first thing I notice is that this Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bar is definitely going to be on the popsicle side of things. Take a look at the images I’ve included and you’ll see what I mean. It’s got that semi-transparent look that popsicles have because of the higher water content.

Now, the taste: the entire family loved these Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars. They’re sweet yet tart and have a definite authentic lemon taste. These Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars were designed to be refreshing on a hot summery day. What I really like is that they’re light and easy. I asked my daughter how the Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars taste and she said, quite simply, “like frozen lemonade”. I couldn’t agree more.

If I have to be honest, these Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars are still a tad too sweet for my liking. For one bar, you get 13 grams of sugar which is quite a bit. I could do with less of the evaporated cane juice since I lean more on the tart side but overall, I think these Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars are top notch! You just wouldn’t want to eat a whole box by yourself in one sitting, that’s all.  On the flip side, you also get 30% vitamin C which is interesting and likely attributed to the real lemon juice used.

Verdict:

You can tell, this is a relatively short product review because quite honestly, there’s not much to say so I’ll keep it short and sweet. Do the Natural Choice Pink Lemonade Fruit Bars taste yummy and delicious? Yep. Are they refreshing and tart? Yep. Would I buy them again? Yep. Enough said. A while back, I did a review on their coconut bars which I didn’t particularly care for thus proving my point that it is important to test out different flavours from the same brand because you just never know.
