The hubby is quite the crafty one when it comes to the kitchen. He’s a pretty mean cook which is fantastic since we both can bounce food ideas off one another. Occasionally, he brings home novelty items that he wants to try out.
Most recently: this can of Blue Monkey Coconut Water. It was on sale at the grocery store so he decided to buy one to test it out.
Now, I have to be honest, I was a little apprehensive about it. I wasn’t exactly happy with the last coconut water I tested a while back. Granted, it was from a different company but still….
Product Review: What ingredients are in Blue Monkey Coconut Water?
Any guesses on the ingredients used to make Blue Monkey Coconut Water? You would be correct: nothing but 100% coconut water.
While I may have been apprehensive about testing out Blue Monkey’s Coconut Water, there’s no denying the appeal of a drink that has exactly what it claims to have. I mean coconut water with only coconut water in it? What a novel idea!
If only more companies could be that simple!
Taste Test: Blue Monkey Coconut Water
Open the can of Blue Monkey Coconut Water and this is what you get. Yes, it looks like coconut water and yes, it tastes like coconut water.
Now, to be honest, the Blue Monkey Coconut Water actually tastes much better than the last brand of coconut water I had. It was smooth, light, and slightly sweet. It was certainly easy to drink but I can’t say I’d want to drink an entire can by myself. I had a small cup to drink and the hubby seemed quite happy to drink the rest by himself.
I can see why so many people would want to drink coconut water. Reading the can of Blue Monkey Coconut Water and you learn of all the benefits that coconut water provides.
It’s got potassium, magnesium, and electrolytes. In particular, the Blue Monkey Coconut Water is also made from sustainably sourced coconuts and is non-GMO. While I’m a big fan of most things coconut, I just haven’t yet come to love coconut water. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it a try though. The hubby did and certainly seems to enjoy it quite a fair bit!
