Right next to my family’s love of lemons is our love of coconut. There is just something so incredibly magical about coconut. The hubby and I love coconut. The big kid likes coconut too but probably not as much as we do. I mean, what’s not to love? Coconut is fragrant, velvety, and oh so rich.
I’d been looking for canned coconut cream to make coconut rice but hadn’t ventured back into the canned world until the hubby picked up this can of Earth’s Choice organic coconut cream.
Why?
Because he noticed the Earth’s Choice organic coconut cream was specifically labeled that no BPA was used in the can lining. It was one of the main reasons why he had picked it up! Super kudos to the hubby for noticing it and our entire family benefited from that one observation because we were able to make delicious coconut rice using the Earth’s Choice organic coconut cream.
YUM.
Product Review: What ingredients are in the Earth’s Choice organic coconut cream?
Now, in case you’re wondering, the Earth’s Choice organic coconut cream is made with the following ingredients: organic coconut cream (80%) and water.
That’s it.
The coconut cream is what you’d expect: not too watery or too creamy. It’s like cow’s milk with a few lumpy bits but the taste is divine. What I love about coconut cream in general is that it’s got all the flavour without being sweet.
Earth’s Choice organic coconut cream was the perfect addition to my coconut rice and the taste was out of this world!
Verdict:
Today’s post isn’t so much about Earth’s Choice organic coconut cream per se as it is about having choices. For the longest time, I’ve tried different forms of coconut but I’ve stayed clear of most canned goods because I can’t stomach the idea of having BPA in the lining. To have Earth’s Choice come along with a product that meets my consumer needs?
I mean, that’s awesome!
Coconut cream and a BPA free lining?
What more could I ask for?!
