thingsthatwedo.com pic - erasers

Especially when they’re only a dollar and they’re super cute and they happen to be ERASERS!

I know, I know. I have a thing for cute and fun stationary. There I was at the store looking for my ergonomic keyboard just minding my own business when I stumbled across an unassuming bin of these long wobbly erasers.

At first, I didn’t know what they were but I was intrigued enough to take a closer look. I picked one up and that’s when I realized they were erasers and as it so happens, they were super cool and super cute. The best part was, they each only cost $1! I couldn’t resist and picked up 4 for my daughter and I to share.

I mean, look at this zebra!

They’re long and wobbly and remind me of discarded licorice (translation: warning – may not be suitable for young children who might mistake them for candy!) but when you look at the ends of each eraser you’ll see a distinctly cute shape.

They each have a different spiraled ribbing which made them all the more fascinating.

My daughter and I haven’t used them. Truth be told, I’m not sure if we’ll ever use them but they are so incredibly cute to have. Sometimes, when stationary is so cool (and in this case, so affordable), I just can’t resist them! They’d also make really neat loot bag gifts for older children paired with some cool pencils and a notepad.

With stationary like these, I almost feel like a child again. I’m just glad I kept my eyes open and noticed them in that bin!
