I am lamenting the near tail end of summer with one last (or second last) ice cream review of the season. While I’m sure this won’t be the last ice cream review we do here at ThingsThatWeDo.com, it certainly might be one of the last ones before the arrival of Fall. I decided to do an ice cream review on the Haagen Daz vanilla bean ice cream for a variety of reasons.
Many think Haagen Daz ice cream comes from an exotic faraway place. Ah, but do not let this fancy dancy name fool you. Any guesses on where Haagen Daz originates from?
My other reason for choosing to review the Haagen Daz vanilla bean ice cream is of course, its ingredient list. Made with cream, sugar, concentrated skim milk, liquid egg yolk, vanilla extract, and ground vanilla beans, this Haagen Daz vanilla bean ice cream is a far cry from some of the more processed and frozen disasters out there posing as ice cream. I’m not even going to foul this post by mentioning them. Needless to say, if you go exploring our Ice Cream review section, you’ll find some of the culprits there.
