Okay, I know I’m supposed to post intermittently but sometimes, I just can’t contain myself. I know posting sporadically means I can’t always be as swift as I’d like but I try to get information out as quickly as I can without causing myself too much undue stress.

Well, this is a special post for our readers who live in the United States. I recently received an update that the FDA will be releasing new Nutrition Facts label on packaged foods. Why? The new labels are supposed to make it easier for all of you to make those informed consumer choices about the food you eat.

I’m posting 2 links you might find useful as you do a little research on this subject.

From the FDA Voice: Unveiling the New Nutrition Facts Label

From the FDA website: Changes to the Nutrition Facts Label (with a lot more concrete details)

This is incredibly exciting so do yourself a favour and read up on all the new changes!

Reminder: this post was written by and for thingsthatwedo.com only and reflects the opinion of one wee small family. If you see this post anywhere else except on my site at thingsthatwedo.com, know that I have not consented to having any part of this post (or this website for that matter), to be re-produced, copied, or re-printed anywhere else. Practice ethical posting!
