Updated: March 14, 2013 – I’m updating the coupon link and now it’s from coupons.com. The reason? I went to a different Starbucks today and the staff told me they couldn’t accept the other print out. Not sure why since I’ve already had a few freebies using the other coupon but whatever. Same deal, different coupon but I’ve done some digging and it appears that some stores may/not accept the coupon for whatever reason. Other stores are apparently even offering free drinks just cuz. I’m not going to bother with the whys and hows of different stores but there’s no harm in at least asking. Enjoy!

I think this is the first time I’ve ever posted a complete and total freebie for all of you on ThingsThatWeDo.com but this deal is too good to pass up. Big thanks to Z for sending this link my way. If you’re a fan of Starbucks, you may just want to try their Hazelnut Macchiato or Caramel Macchiato for FREE with the coupon that you can access from the link below. The link comes from the mommysavesbig.com website.

This wickedly awesome deal goes from March 5, 2013 – March 31, 2013 and is valid in Canada and the United States at participating stores. Just be sure to print off extras of the coupon!

Free Kobo Mini With Any Kobo Arc

Copyright© 2012 ThingsThatWeDo.com. All Rights Reserved.

I love a good deal especially when I don’t have to carry them home myself. If you feel like doing some Boxing Day shopping, I strongly urge you to visit Indigo.ca for some great Boxing week deals.

Starting today, December 26, 2012, you can get a FREE Kobo Mini (that’s an $80 value!) with the purchase of any Kobo Arc! For those of you waiting to get your hands on a Kobo, this is quite the deal but it’ll only last until January 6, 2013.

For me, I’m eyeing the up to 75% off sale and I’ll be browsing through the books, music, toys, electronics, gifts, and a bunch of other stuff. This is a great time to stock up on gifts for upcoming birthday parties that you know your child will be going to as the school year moves forward. Hey, if you’re lucky, you might even find some ‘thank you’ gifts for the teachers in preparation for the end of the school year. Yes, I really do think that far in advance because I really do hate shopping so much that I’ll shop early enough just to get it out of the way!

Now, truth be told, the indigo.ca website is a pain to navigate so I’ll share a trick with you that I use to save my shopping sanity. I’ll browse through all the pages and the minute I’m even remotely interested in something, I’ll add it to my cart. Then, when I’m all done, I’ll review my cart and delete everything that I don’t actually want. This way, it reduces all the backtracking that I’d otherwise have to do to find what I wanted 10 minutes ago.

Indigo.ca, if you’re out there listening, I’d highly recommend you to work on the navigation system on your site. You have so many goodies that can be hard to find. For us savvy shoppers though, a little perseverance does pay off!

Enjoy and happy shopping!

I love indigo.ca because you all know I’m a lazy shopper. The best part is, indigo.ca brought back its 5 Brands 5 Days promotion again this year! Every day this week, they’ll feature a particular brand name for 25% off its regular price. Yesterday, they featured Playmobil. The rest of this week, each day they’ll feature one of the following brands: Lego, Vtech, Barbie and Crayola. I don’t know about you but Lego rarely goes on sale so if you plan to get someone Lego for Christmas this year, now’s the time to buy.

The best part about shopping at indigo.ca is that you get free shipping on any order after $25. For me, that means no lugging big packages home. It just comes to my doorstep all sealed and then I can just stash it away! Heh heh.

Psst…I just checked: today is Crayola day!

Had to let you all know, Indigo.ca is having their 5 Brands 5 Days sale again. I’ve capitalized on this sale before in previous years because they highlight such brands as: Melissa & Doug, LeapFrog, Creativity for Kids, Duplo and Playmobil during this 5 day run.

Here is how it works. Every day, starting today Monday, July 23, Indigo.ca reveals a new toy deal and depending on the deal, you can save up to 25%! Look, how often can you get Playmobil at 25% off or LeapFrog for that matter. What I like most about shopping on the Indigo.ca website is that I get free shipping with a purchase of $25 and I can avoid all the instore hassle of carrying the stuff home.

So, if you’ve got a birthday party to go to soon or if you just want to stock up, stay tune this week for the daily deals. Click on the banner included to get started!

Visit Indigo.ca now and you can even get Free Shipping On Orders Over $25

A little while back, I mentioned that Indigo.ca has a cfrazy toy sale with up to 50% off of a lot of different brands of children’s toys. Time is ticking away and I couldn’t resist a little reminder post because the sale is only available until May 25!

These kinds of sales are when I do my gift shopping for others. Why pay full price when I can save a big chunk of brands like Lego, Barbie, Captain America, Star Wars, Disney princesses, Wii games, Xbox 360 games, Nintendo DS games, PS3 games, some Chuggington products, and more?

Back In Stock! LeapPad Tablets Available at Indigo

Here comes another feature site that I have to tell you all about. Many of you will know the Indigo chain of bookstores for its great selection of books but what I truly love about Indigo is its online shopping site. If you’ve been to an Indigo bookstore recently, you’ll know they’ve revamped their Kids section to include more toys with a larger selection but nothing compares to the massive number of options that are available in their online store.

Does the Indigo online store take time to navigate? Oh, absolutely but what I’ll often do is either go through the clearance section or search by price point. Depending on who I’m buying for, I might select a certain price point and then narrow my search by the approximate age of the child. Boy oh boy, I’ve found a ton of great toys online and free shipping is so easy because all you need is spend $25. I usually will get a few toys and stock them up for upcoming birthday gifts and then, before you know it, they’re at my doorstep.

I still remember a recent Lego sale that Indigo had. I scored a ton of great Lego products online but the in-store selection was disappointing and I picked up nothing in the store. Thus, when in doubt, I always turn to the online Indigo shopping site. So, if you have a spare moment or you’re looking for a much needed gift for a child, consider checking out the Indigo bookstore online site. Simply click on the link provided and enjoy! Free Shipping On Orders Over $25

Welcome to yet another new section of ThingsThatWeDo.com. As promised in my earlier post, I’m slowly expanding what this site can offer our readers and one thing close to my heart is getting a good deal. Every so often, I’ll update this Shopping section with some great sites that I’ve found online. I don’t know about you but sometimes, I find I just don’t have the time to shop so while my child is fast asleep, I’ll often take that time to do some online shopping for a last minute birthday gift or maybe it’s just a really good deal. Enjoy the sites below and happy shopping!

Educational Games for 2-6 Year Olds

Website: ABCMouse.com

I recently stumbled across this site ABCMouse.com and I have to say I’m quite impressed. It’s a subscription based website with no advertising, pop-up ads, or links to any other site. ABCMouse.com is a fun and interactive website where children can learn the fundamentals for academic success.

The ABCmouse.com Early Learning Academy is widely popular in the United States and Canada with other 2,00 books, games, songs, puzzles, and art activities and each one has specified learning objectives in reading, mathematics, beginning science, social studies, art and music. Just remember to keep computer time to 15 minute sessions and then take a break! Our optometrist reminds me of this every time we go. Practice good computer habits so your child will continue to use them as they get older!
