Call me crazy but I’ve tried different Popcorn Indiana products and they’ve been hit and miss for me. I liked the Chip’ins, the movie theatre popcorn was disappointing, and the sweet & savoury wasn’t bad. Yet here I am, trying yet another Popcorn Indiana product again! I guess that means kudos and good job to Popcorn Indiana for coming out with so many new products that I can’t resist trying. I guess it also means that the packaging is enticing enough for me to try this cinnamon sugar popcorn. While I love popcorn and I love cinnamon sugar, I don’t know if I’ll love the two combined. So, let’s try to figure this out together, shall we? Just you, me, and thingsthatwedo.com.

Product review: What happened?

Okay, I open the bag of cinnamon sugar popcorn and it smells delicious, fragrant cinnamon lingering in the air and I’m thinking there’s potential in this bag of popcorn.  I take a handful and I crunch and the popcorn tastes good.  I eat a few more pieces of popcorn and I feel a shoulder shrug coming along. I have to be honest and say that I think I was expecting more. I mean, the popcorn was crunchy, it tasted sweet and I could definitely taste the cinnamon but that’s all I got. Does that sound odd?
How do I explain it? The Popcorn Indiana website conjures thoughts of cinnamon buns dancing in my head but the cinnamon sugar popcorn only makes me think of popcorn coated with sugar and cinnamon. I mean, if I had nothing else to eat at home, I’d eat them and they’re certainly healthier for you than some of the more heavily fat laced snack foods.

Verdict:

So, will I buy this Popcorn Indiana Cinnamon Sugar popcorn ever again? I doubt it and honestly, it’s not because the popcorn is revolting or anything like that. It just did nothing for me. It conjured up nothing for me. At the time of me writing this article for my pet thingsthatwedo.com I still have more than half a bag left uneaten. Maybe, I was just hoping for more because I’m utterly bored of conventional snacks. However, I do think it’s worth a try so you can make that decision for yourself!

Needless to say, let me end off this product review by stipulating the obvious. This product review on Popcorn Indiana’s cinnamon sugar kettlecorn popcorn is by ThingsThatWeDo.com and no one else. If you see this review anywhere else except on my site at thingsthatwedo.com, know that I have not consented to having any part of this product review (or this website for that matter), to be re-produced, copied, or re-printed anywhere else. It’s sad that I now have to be mindful of using such language to make sure others don’t just swipe away the material that I’ve so carefully typed up. I mean, after all, who’s the one coming up with all these opinions? Me, of course! Me, myself, and I here at thingsthatwedo dot com!
