We are fully into summer and fall is just around the corner. We’ve been using Green Beaver Kids SPF 30 sunscreen for a while now (read Green Beaver review, click here) and it’s been working great but I also wanted something else that was easy to apply on the face that won’t drip into her eyes especially during those crazy hot days.
I stumbled across the Badger SPF30 sunscreen face stick during a recent trip to my local health store and instantly gravitated towards it because my daughter used Badger products last year so I knew she wouldn’t be allergic to its ingredients. I loved the sunscreen stick idea which was designed for use on the face so I picked it up and tried it out.

Product review: What happened?

Now, I confess, I’ve only used it a handful of times on my daughter but the husband has used it a number of times on her and he finds it really convenient. The Badger SPF30 sunscreen face stick is easy to carry so it’s always in the travelling knapsack.  When I visited the website for more info, I really like that the Badger SPF30 sunscreen face stick is environmentally friendly, contains Certified Organic ingredients, and of all the times that we’ve used it, it stayed on my kid’s face despite the hot grimy sun. The website even notes that the Badger SPF30 sunscreen face stick retains SPF protection for up to 80 minutes but more importantly, I appreciate that it blocks out both UVA and UVB rays. I also like that it’s unscented with natural ingredients.
Now, the husband did mention one thing: the Badger SPF30 sunscreen face stick is quite dry (would that be the word?) so it does take some pressure to apply on the skin. It certainly doesn’t glide quickly or easily. If you want to put it all over your child’s face, it will take a little more effort to spread it over your child’s face. The added pressure to apply the Badger SPF30 sunscreen face stick might make it uncomfortable for your child, especially if they’re not used to it.

Verdict:

Will I buy the Badger SPF30 sunscreen face stick again? I think so for the pure convenience that it offers. I like having it in our travel back pack and knowing that it works as soon as you apply it on to the skin. Badger is a brand I can trust and my daughter doesn’t seem to mind the extra pressure needed to apply the Badger SPF30 sunscreen face stick on to her face.

Hello there and thank you for your kind comments. I try the best I can to offer some information to those interested in the topic at hand. I never even knew that Badger made an SPF 30 sunscreen face stick and what a great idea this is! Honestly, there are so many chemicals floating around nowadays. If I can limit some of that exposure for my child, I’m going to take that extra step if I can! Hope you visit our site again soon! From the family at: http://www.ThingsThatWeDo.com
