A little while ago, I did a product review on the Envirosax Slingsax (click here if you haven’t seen it yet) and now I’ve decided to do a review on the Envirosax 2 handle reusable bag. I purchased both Envirosax products at the same time but didn’t get a chance to do this review until now because it’s taken me, this mom at thingsthatwedo.com, until now to use it and give a decent review about your basic average Envirosax reusable bag. So, is this Envirosax bag any better than the grocery store reusable bag that you can purchase?
Product review: What happened?
Well, for one, the styles of the Envirosax bags sure are more stylish than the reusable bags you might buy at your local grocery store. The Envirosax reusable shopping bag is quite compact and I was able to re-fold it into a nice small shape that fit easily into my work bag.
At the time of me, this crazy mom at thingsthatwedo.com, writing this blog review, I have officially stuffed my Envirosax reusable shopping bag with a ton of groceries and I can say it really is able to carry the 40lbs it claims to carry. Now, I haven’t weighed how much I’ve carried at once but I did use it to hold a bag of apples, 2 big tetraboxes of juice, some milk, bread, and pasta, and it held up quite nicely.
Do I think the Envirosax reusable shopping bag has some flaws? Yep, I do. Given that is made from a polyester bag, I wouldn’t say that the Envirosax reusable shopping bag won’t always sit nicely on your shoulders. It will really depend on what type of coat/jacket you’re wearing. The one day I wore my bubble jacket (you know, those big poofy things you wear to keep warm) is the day the Envirosax straps slid down my shoulder. Annoying, yes, but hey, it won’t stop me from using the bag. I’ll just use it when I’m not wearing the bubble jacket.
So, after trying out the Envirosax reusable shopping bag, would I buy it again? Yeah, I would because I really adore the different designs. They really are snazzy enough that you could use them as your everyday bag to carry your work stuff or your child’s stuff, not just your grocery stuff. They’d be great at the beach too! I’d love to see Envirosax come out with a few more designs, maybe one with a zipper closure at the top and maybe one with a few pockets so that you could hold the loose change from the grocery trip of have that extra change ready for the coffee that you want to pick up along the way home. If anyone from Envirosax is reading, let me know when those new bags are out! 😉
Needless to say, let me end off this product review by stipulating the obvious. This product review on the Envirosax reusable shopping bag is by ThingsThatWeDo.com and no one else. If you see this review anywhere else except on my site at thingsthatwedo.com, know that I have not consented to having any part of this product review (or this website for that matter), to be re-produced, copied, or re-printed anywhere else. It’s sad that I now have to be mindful of using such language to make sure others don’t just swipe away the material that I’ve so carefully typed up. I mean, after all, who’s the one coming up with all these opinions? Me, of course! Me, myself, and I here at thingsthatwedo dot com!
